Finding decent and substantial employment is particularly challenging, as stated by the President of the United Nations Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) and Permanent Representative of Slovakia to the UN, Miloš Koterec, during a session dedicated to global unemployment and the search for ways to create dignified jobs.
The average duration of a job search today exceeds six months. On average, men spend 6.3 months searching for work, while women spend 6.5 months.
